Mama's Help Your Son To Be....

Mama's Help Your Son To Be....

Giving your young son an opportunity to be a gentleman or a leader trains them to be natural at it as a grown man.

It looks like this:
"Sweetheart, can you open that door for us?"
"Thank you for being such a gentleman."

"Son, would you mind helping mommy bring in the groceries." "You are so kind and helpful, thank you!"

"Honey, could you help the lady who just dropped something."
"It makes Mommy so proud how you help others."

"Son, will you pray for us?"
"Your prayer was just beautiful."

Or when you see him doing it on his own. "I saw you do ____. That was so special what you did and I just love that about you."

Respect is just as important to young men as it is to men. Kindly instruct him to be a giving, loving helper--do not force him if he feels uneasy or unsure. Tenderly allow him to grow into this role.

"Train up a child in the way he should go. And when he is old he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6
