Dealing With Our Own Flaws
As we draw nearer to
God, he purifies us into the image of his son. He loves us too much to leave us
in sin. Humbly, we need to realize that cleaning ourselves should be our only
concern. There is pride involved in looking at others’ sin instead of our
own…God hates pride. Acknowledging our dire need for confession, repentance,
and restoration is where true growth and progress is made.
"Why do you
look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the
plank in your own eye? Matthew 7:3
