Love One Another

Love One Another
Biblical Priority #6 - Love One Another
by Suzie M.

New School Year, New Beginnings but for some people it brings back old relationships, old feelings and old habits.

You know what I mean:
the room mom who is a control freak
the PTA member who got the position you wanted
the teacher you did not want your child to get
the soccer mom who drives you insane
or you just want to get back to your same old routine, by yourself or with your friends.

We all have them in our lives, but if we are called to be set apart and love our neighbors, then why do we live our lives this way? We are called to encourage and build one another up, all in love. It’s easy to love those who are like us and those we are comfortable with, but what about those that aren’t like us? Everyone needs to be encouraged, affirmed or ministered to in some way. Who will do it? God has put you right where you are supposed to be. Don’t you want to be set apart, don’t you want your life to be an offering to God? Maybe it’s time for a new you. Mark 2:22 says, “ No one puts new wine into old wineskins. For the wine would burst the wineskins, and the wine and the skins would both be lost. New wine calls for new wineskins.”

Challenge: Speak to someone you would not normally speak to, make a new friend. Pray for God to make you new so you can do new things for His Glory.
