Gratefully Yours

Gratefully Yours

On this day, I have officially been married half my life and I couldn’t be happier and more grateful about that.

This road has been everything from terribly bumpy to extremely blissful. It has been a constant lesson in life, love, and learning to live together as man and wife.

Though there have been times when I did not think we would make it another day, each and every valley has been an opportunity to grow and understand more while we appreciate the views from the mountain top.

Happy 22nd Wedding Anniversary to the husband of my youth, my beloved, my prince! You complete me. I love, adore, and cherish you always….

“I have found the one whom my soul loves.”
Song of Solomon 3:4

Not In Agreement

Not In Agreement

Getting frustrated with our child or spouse and then telling them what we “see” is so harmful.

When doing that we are labeling them, but worse we are in agreement with the enemy. He sets the bait, we take the bait by acting on negative thoughts that enter our minds.

Evil thought=Devil
Good thought=God
(Both only one-letter difference)

“We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ.”  2 Corinthians 10:5

T2W Mentor Moms - Wk 01 Meditation Verse

Have your child write this on a chalk board, his/her bathroom mirror, a wipe off board, somewhere he/she will see it all week long and meditate on its meaning to commit your household to the service of the Lord.

by Carri Pratt

Welcome! Your children will be blessed by your participation in T2W Mentor Moms. This is the quick and easy way to saturate your child's life with the truth of God's word.

Each week you will receive:

Weekly Meditation Verse - have your children write this somewhere in your home so they can meditate on the importance of Scripture. Give them an extra treat if they can commit it to memory!

Weekly Scripture Reading - have your children read God's word. Help them understand the importance of knowing God through His word.

A daily prayer for you to pray over your children (T2W Facebook Page)

A daily 3 Minute Moment to share with your children (T2W Facebook Page)

Weekly 'Kids Can' Videos to show to your children

Weekly Worship Videos for your children to listen to for encouragement

God has entrusted your children to you for a purpose - so that you may teach your child to:

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. These words that I am giving you today are to be in your heart. Repeat them to your children. Talk about them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Bind them as a sign on your hand and let them be a symbol on your forehead. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates."  Deuteronomy 6:4-9

Make a commitment today to be faithful to your Lord and King and teach your children about His Truth.

The Worst Thing To Come Between People Is…

The Worst Thing To Come Between People Is…

When something goes wrong between you and a family member or a friend, it’s very important to have all the facts. It’s not ok to assume anything. Jumping to conclusions can cause serious harm.

Things are not always what they seem. Before you react or even worse, allow a relationship to end up estranged, seek knowledge and ALL the facts.

That worst thing is…

Misunderstanding

It will always deceive, mislead and steal from you, and it will keep you in the dark about the true situation.

“For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.” Proverbs 2:6

Walking Dead

Walking Dead

Think how many wounded people we have all around and continuing the cycle by hurting others. There is ongoing spousal, child, elderly, and even animal abuse.

Those that are hurting others have a root issue that causes them to be out of control…

It’s almost always HURT or SHAME.

Not properly dealing with and processing hurts and trauma will cause the pain to be stored in your brain, in turn affecting your daily life, health and relationships.

Dredging up a past hurt is never fun. Reliving it is even worse, but the pain has to come out for one to be set free.

Let yourself feel and you will heal instead of walking around like a zombie causing more wounded people.

"Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as Christ God forgave you." Ephesians 4:32
