Happy New Year?

Happy New Year!!!

This year is going to be great, I just know it!

As you reflect on what your 2015 will look like think about letting the heavy things go…

Bitterness, unforgiveness, resentfulness, keeping records of wrongs, anger, pride, and nasty self-protective habits—ALL OF THESE keep you from experiencing Joy that flows from a grateful heart, they keep you from being vulnerable which prevents intimacy from freely flowing, and they keep you in a constant state of disappointment.

“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” Ephesians 6:12

If any of your relationships need improvement, particularly your marriage. Focus on CLEARING THE CLUTTER that has built up over the years and stolen so much from you, and it’s all based on LIES.

“We demolish arguments and every pretention that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” 2 Corinthians 10:5

Here’s a great post and a great encouragement.

The negative chatter inside our head
is only a bait to send you into a downward spiral if you listen to and then act on those lies.

“Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26

“The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” John 10:10

An Aroma of Goodness

An Aroma of Goodness

A Sweet Smelling Stove Top Simmer:

Lemon or Orange Rinds, Vanilla Extract, Cinnamon or Rosemary. Simmer this on low in plenty of water in a saucepan.

When I have lemon or orange peel, I create one of these simmers. As this will have your home warm and oh-so-cozy, also take on the aroma of Christ and see what a huge difference it will make.

(DO NOT leave the simmer unattended; it can dry up fast in the pan)

“And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.” Ephesians 5:2

Merry Christmas

Why Was Jesus Born?

Jesus came to Preach . . .

“But He said to them, “I must proclaim the good news about the kingdom of God to the other towns also, because I was sent for this purpose.” Luke 4:43

Jesus came to do God’s will . . .

“For I have come down from heaven, not to do My will, but the will of Him who sent Me.” John 6:38

Jesus came to Testify to the Truth . . .

“You say that I’m a king,” Jesus replied. “I was born for this, and I have come into the world for this: to testify to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to My voice.” John 18:37

Jesus came to give Abundant Life . . .

“A thief comes only to steal and to kill and to destroy. I have come so that they may have life and have it in abundance.” John 10:10

Jesus came to give Eternal Life . . .

“I give them eternal life, and they will never perish—ever! No one will snatch them out of My hand.” John 10:28

Jesus came to Save … John 3:17

“For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.” John 3:17

                                    Merry Christmas!
