One
Year Bible – 5 Things You Must Remember
Carri Pratt
This past week, (as I was continuing our reading of the One Year Bible), I was reminded of 5 of the most important
things to remember from Deuteronomy 6;
1. Love God!
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your
soul, and with all your strength.” Deuteronomy 6:5
2. Read God’s Word & Keep it in your heart
“These words that I
am giving you today are to be in your heart.” Deuteronomy 6:6
3. Tell Your Children
“Repeat them to your
children. Talk about them when you sit in your house and when you walk along
the road, when you lie down and when you get up.” Deuteronomy 6:7
4. Present a Good Witness for Christ
“Bind them as a sign
on your hand and let them be a symbol on your forehead.” Deuteronomy
6:8
5. Place Scripture Around Your Home
“Write them on the
doorposts of your house and on your gates.” Deuteronomy 6:9
Allow God’s Word to penetrate your heart, mind, soul and
life.
Much encouragement as you continue reading your One Year Bible!
