"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit."
Matthew 28:19
Service to God is an act of worship, but service starts within your own
four walls before we ever venture across the ocean. Would I go to the same lengths to serve those
that slumber in my home each night as I would others? We work all-day cooking a homemade meal for a
new mother just home from the hospital and then pull though the drive through
and get our own children fast food after delivering a hot, fresh, made with
love dinner to someone else. Would I
drop everything to take my husband his lunch that he forgot at home like I
would when I see my son had forgotten his lunch?
Icebreaker:
If money were no object, what service would you like to pay someone to perform for you?
Conversation Starter:
Part of service is regular church attendance, we have
to look at our appointment with God just like we would a doctor appointment. We go to great lengths to
be on time and prepared for out doctor’s appointments because the doctor is an
important knowledgeable man or women, but who is more important and knowledgeable than
Jesus?
Conversation Starter
Conversation Starter: We all need a Paul (mentor) in our lives, we are to
train up a Timothy (learner), and we need a Barnabus (encourager).
