Q: What do I do about a generational sin or stronghold?

A:  Adrian Rodgers once said “We can’t deal with our ancestors but we can deal with our dependents.”  Draw a line in the sand – start anew- from this day forward this sin or stronghold goes no further.  Sounds like a harsh statement???  This stronghold comes from the enemy, a very real threat, not from the Lord.  The Bible says, “For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12   Do not allow the enemy to take you any further down his path that leads to more generational ruin.   “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” John 10:10
