Grandma's Homemade Cinnamon Applesauce

Grandma's Homemade Cinnamon Applesauce

Melt in a large saucepan:
35 ounces of applesauce
4 1/2 ounces of red hots
Dash of cinnamon
1/4 sugar (TIP- Grandma said,"It could never be too sweet.")

When all of the ingredients are melted together allow to cool in the pan until you are able to handle. Then use a funnel and pour back into the applesauce jar.

IDEA: Pour into a mason jar and tie a strip of red and white checked fabric around the jar. Makes a cute fall gift.
