The Struggle Is Real

The Struggle Is Real

It may seem that the writer of these weekly pearls has it all together; that she has never had her problems or faced any trails.

Well, that is just plain not true. Actually, any wisdom that flows from me to this page is mostly out of learning it the hard way and real struggles we have had to overcome.

Can I be honest? May I ask something from you? Would you pray for us? It has come down to a very crucial time, my oldest leaves for college in less than a week. He and I have had a communication barrier for quite a while. I can’t even tell you where or why it went wrong, but some days we cannot be in the same room together. We desperately need healing, a true miracle, and HOPE.

I thank you in advance.

“Hear my prayer, Lord, listen to my cry for mercy.” Psalm 86:6

So very sorry for your pain and heartache. Thank you for your transparency...the greater the authenticity, we can go to His throne room boldly petitioning on your behalf. Heavenly Father, Only You can heal and make healthy and well that which is broken. Lord God, You are the divine Healer. We lift this broken relationship to You and ask Your divine intervention. We ask that You soften the hearts of this relationship, make them sense and know Your Holy Presence, convict repentance, draw these hurting hearts to Your truths; truths that life is freeing and glorious and rich when we bow to You, when we seek Your Holiness and Wholeness over our selfish ways; You make our hearts selfless. Father God, You know the pain. You know what to change. You know what needs fixed and how to change the impossible. Father, we boldly ask that You infuse change and hope into these hearts. Right the wrongs. Rebuild and rekindle Your love in these hearts and make the change that reignites peace, hope, joy and rightness in this relationship; a willingness to forgive and begin anew with You. Give strength to let go of pride or anything on the throne that has replaced You. Hear our cries, O Lord, hear our urgency for this relationship to be restored, stronger in You, and we pray in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Dear Sister,
I sit here in tears after reading your sincere and powerful prayer. I just saw this today, the 25th and you wrote that on Aug 14, 6 days before we took my son off to school. My heart is filled gratitude that someone, anyone, (You) would reach out and care so much.

This means so much more than you will ever know.

Update: There has been a real sincere softening and kindness coming from him. He is sending sweet texts and not getting frustrated with our questions about college. I can see the light of HOPE now, which wasn't there somedays or some days it was very dim. PRAISE JESUS!!
We receive the prayers and the healing in Jesus name, we believe for victory over darkness and the thief. We trust the reason we had to endure this pain and how it will make us all better, and have more understanding to help others, which is our hearts desire and passion.

All my LOVE and Gratitude is yours, Dear One.
Prayers coming for you and all the readers holding out hope.
xoxo
