What does Jesus do as soon as the disciples leave in the boat?
(Jesus went up a mountainside to pray. It is really important to understand that Jesus needed to spend time with God in prayer. He communicated with God and received power from Him. All Christians should follow Jesus' example.)
What miracle did Jesus perform?
(Jesus walked on water out to the boat. The disciples thought He was a ghost.)
Peter asked to walk on water, what happened?
(Jesus told him to "come." vs. 29 Peter did begin to walk on water but he became afraid and began to sink.)
What lesson can we take away from this passage?
(Keep your eyes on Jesus and do not be afraid. Listen to what Jesus is telling you to do. If He wants you to do something than He knows God has given you what you need to fulfill His will.)
