Jesus declared, “I tell you the truth, unless you are born
again, you cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3 (emphasis mine)
Have you ever come to a place in your
life where a definite transformation occurred in your spiritual life? Being
Born-again is not “church talk”; Jesus himself stated plainly you are to be
born-again. Believing in God and his son, Jesus, is not the same. Truth cannot be reasoned with to suit your
preferences, truth is you have to choose
Jesus, acknowledge him as the son of God and the Lord of your life, confess
that you cannot get into Heaven by your own righteousness and ask him to
forgive you of all known and unknown sin.
Take that first step of faith (even if it makes you feel silly or
uncomfortable). Follow
this simple but life changing act with the study of God’s word, ask the Lord to
show you Jesus, and to reveal himself to you. You will start a transformation
of becoming like him as you choose
truth, purity and righteousness with His power within you.
Go for it!
Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find;
