How far would you go?

How far would you go?

Would you leave your comfortable home, your family, and everything you know to help someone find God?

Jesus did, he left his perfect home, and his father and everything he knew to live among us.  A life he knew would be filled with pain, both emotional and physical.

As we celebrate Christmas today, lets remember to thank God for the miracle of Jesus and the choice he made to save us.

If you haven’t already, choose him and accept his gift of salvation for life everlasting.

“Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call his name Emanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”
Matthew 1:23

Sanctify Your Home

Sanctify Your Home

Walk through your house in prayer. Enter each room praying for every family member. Ask the Lord to reveal anything that should be removed from the home. What are we bringing/letting in that hinders, makes us stumble, or worse, has us ensnared in continual sin?

“For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.” Galatians 5:1

Bless and Be Blessed

Bless and Be Blessed

Do you believe in investments and returns? As you go about each day are you a kind person? Giving? Thoughtful? Considerate? Putting others first? Do you give grace and a smile as you move along? Without judgment or favoritism?

“Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” Matthew 25:34

"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the law? Jesus replied: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself." Matthew 22:36-40

Reverse Aging and Weight Gain

Reverse Aging and Weight Gain

Big food companies are not for you. They are only for profit, and at the expense of your health and longevity. Processed foods are mostly a huge detriment to your health and waistline. Even ingredients that are natural have been so processed that they are terrible for you made mostly of added sugar and carbs.

Consider taking a whole foods challenge. Of course there is the Whole 30, which is a serious month-long whole food plan and menu. But if you can’t see yourself ready for that take a 21 or 14-day challenge. Even a 7-day with no processed food will give you great results.

Be sure to weigh and measure yourself and write down the results as you progress. If you mess up, forgive yourself and just keep at it.

It takes a while to get the addictive food cravings out of your system. I can attest that the less sugar you eat, the less you crave. Even if you eat three to four days out of the week clean, you’re still making progress.

My best advice is to plan ahead what you will eat and always pack to-go whole food snacks so you’re not tempted to buy fast food or junk foods.

There is plenty of clean eating blogs for encouragement and free recipes, tips and advice www.Pinterest.com  is also a great resource.
