Make Morning routines fun!

Trade all of your morning frustration and impatience for jokes and fun. It works!

When getting my little boy ready for school, we joke around, a lot! I create distractions to keep him moving in the right direction, we tease around and quote books and riddles.

Ex:

When putting on his shoes I say, “One shoe, two shoe, red shoe, blue shoe.”  He usually repeats it with me or just smiles.

Or:

“Mommy is not going to put this sock on your foot but you are going to put your foot in this sock.”
