Blessing In Disguise

Blessing In Disguise

Our youngest child had reading difficulties in Kindergarten and First grade and eventually recognized as Dyslexic. This news was hard to hear, of course, and cause for much concern for his future and even many tears from us.

We realized quickly that the extra time we spend with him with homework and reading each night, though tedious at times, is such a gift! It’s a gift of relational bonding. We enjoy every minute spent with him and this gift of time together.

Look around for your blessings in disguise.

My peace I leave with you, my peace I give you. I do not give as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14:27
