His Armor 

One of the most helpful things in my life has been to stop defending myself in my own power. 

Allow God to defend you and trust him at his word. Doing this in full faith we get to see his hand in our circumstances, but we also stop pushing people away from us by being so abrasive.

Put on the full armor of God each day. God's word is our sword and the source of all truth. Faith is our shield. 

 "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 

Stand Firm then, with the belt of TRUTH buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of RIGHTEOUSNESS in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from THE GOSPEL OF PEACE. In addition to all this, take up the shield of FAITH, with which you can extenguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the HELMET of SALVATION and THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT, which is the word of God."

Women Encourage Women

 Ladies, We are better working together, not against each other. 

When we fall for the comparison or jealousy trap, when we gossip or spread rumors, when we don't support and encourage each other--We ALL suffer. 

Not only do we suffer, but we are taking the bait of the enemy who kills, steals and destroys.

Beloved Sister, consider the influence you could have on others. That difficult daughter-in-law, she could be a like daughter! That co-worker that grates your nerves, she may be hopeless and in great need of a friend. 

 Consider also all the gains in perspective and life being mentored by another woman. 

Father, We pray & believe for relationships and opportunities to open up right before our eyes to grow along side another that can make a difference in our lives and us in hers. In Jesus name, Amen

Pull weeds in her flowerbed 

Have a meal out on the back porch with her

Cook for her

Clean out her closet or the garage

Wash her car

Serve her breakfast in bed

Pick her a bouquet of wildflowers

Give her a day off by doing the house duties

Paint her toenails

Snuggle in a chair and read together

Put sweet post it notes in her car, bathroom mirror, and in her purse

Ask her to tell you a story about her childhood or your birth story

Saved But Not Free

Surrender is the key factor in walking a fruitful life with God. His ways are so much higher than our ways and his boundaries are for our own good. 

Leaning in to his voice and being led by his Spirit is to deny our flesh, because not doing so can cause lots of problems. It's also not a one time thing. It's a daily choice to remain calm, hold your peace and tongue and, above all, trusting the One who holds the future.  

He's got your back. I guarantee it.

When we have to be in control and are operating in the flesh, it prevents us from surrender.
