Pain and suffering produces a multi-functional perspective that nothing else can. The treacherous, unstable, and excruciating at times climb makes you truly appreciate the view from the top. 

You simply can't get the view without the climb.

"Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us."

LOVE WITH NO LIMITS

We do not realize how much we are sabotaging our own lives and relationships until it may be too late. 

Please listen up. 

You have an enemy. He is working day and night behind the scenes, behind the curtain, lurking in darkness.

He hates you. He hates marriage and family and unity and teamwork. 

He is divisive. He hates love, truth, forgivness. 
He wants you to remember "that time". He will relentlessly remind you of every hurt and disappointment. He will connect every dot in your brain. He WILL destroy you.
He IS a liar and the deceiver. 

He gets you on his team within your thoughts, using your fears and hurts to win you over. Pretty soon you have taken the bait, you're are now hooked good. His thoughts are now your thoughts and become your words and actions...everything is tainted, and you have been duped. 

Every time you speak or react against your husband, children, job, co-worker you are in agreement with him. He has now clouded your vision with a dirty lens of disappointment. 

Now you are basically a puppet in his hands. Every form of evil is now operating through you--you are just a mere vessel of his evil, his playground. 

What will this cost you? Eventually EVERYTHING.

Want the answer to your healing, your marriage being better than you could fathom, a fantastic relationship with your children and grandchildren??

STOP. BELIEVING. THE LIES.

Today.

The creator of heaven and earth is for you. He says, wholeness and life are already yours. 

Let love & passion drive you...NOT your fears and past hurts. 

Love is the answer. God is LOVE. 

Turn from this mess of pain and destruction. Ask God to cleanse you, forgive you, and to give you HIS eyes. Now see all those people around you as gifts, as they are. 

Engage with them and love them thoroughly, UNCONDITIONALLY as Christ does for us. 

Delight in those God has put in your life. Things are about to get crazy good, watch and see!!

"We destroy arguments and every lofty (the opposite of humility) opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ."  2 Corinthians 10:5

Talk it Out:

 Schedule time to speak with a trusted friend, asking for her to just listen and offer comfort.  

Get a Fresh Perspective:

Seek wisdom from a licensed counselor. 

I strongly recommend getting help. We have had help walking through crisis as well as marriage and parenting issues. Very beneficial.

The Power of Being Held

Hubby may not be the best listener, but he sure is a great place to fall. I love to curl up on my husband for warmth, strength and comfort. And I believe he loves being needed this way.

Take a Deep Breath and Count Your Blessings

Keep a gratitude journal or just ponder all your blessings. It really works! Try it, I dare ya.

Take a Bubble Bath

Relaxing in a hot bath is so therapeutic. Sink into a bubbly bath and let your worries float away....

Transfer Your Pain and Worries to God

Literally hand Jesus your issue. Tell him, 

"Lord, I give you this ____." Let God be your defender and rescuer.

Allow Yourself to Be Weak and Tender

Trying to be strong for so long can be exhausting! Asking for help and being real with others will bond you and help others feel they are not the only one.

"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." 2 Corinthians 12:9

"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not grow faint.  Isaiah 40:31

Softly and Tenderly Train Them

Life giving words and encouragement are the answer in parenting. 

GENTLY instruct children in the way they should go. CALMLY correct them, in love. What are we teaching if we loose it ourselves...or worse, label them and call names??

Listen up parents and teachers, build up children and listen to them--carefully listen. They will give you signs and red flags when you are losing their heart. My son would say things like, "You love her more" and "Your little princess" and such because his sister was compliant instead of strong-willed like he was.

So, instead of me stopping in my tracks and saying, "Noooooo way, Honey! In no way is she more loved or more valued than you are." I would mistakenly brush off his remarks. 

I wish instead of sending him to his room, I should have taken him on a walk to INTENTIONALLY cancel the lies he was hearing.

Draw near and lean into those those that are pushing back. I believe it is a test to see: How much do you love me? How valuable am I??

Unfortunately, I agreed with what the enemy (and his fear) was telling him by my actions. 

Parents I beg you to slow down, and see REALLY SEE your child. Tell him/her every stinking chance you get how special they are in your eyes and in God's.

"And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony." Colossians 3:14

Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins."  1 Peter 4:8

 The Father's Love

If you doubt the love God has for you or if you have forgotten for any reason...

There is nothing, NOTHING that will keep His love from you. 

He wants the BEST for you, no matter if you feel like you deserve it or not. Believe it, girl! 

Beloved, There is no way to ever deserve or earn His love and grace. That is why Jesus had to take all the shame and guilt of the world on himself, and clothed you with HIS righteousness when you accepted him. 

You are pure and white as snow not because of what you've done, but what Jesus Christ did for you. 

"Which of you, if your son asks you for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks you for a fish, will give him a snake? OF course not! If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!"
